DRESS CODE

Arrival

A night at Our Secret Spot is a special event. Therefore, your attire should match the occasion.

We and other guests love seeing you dressed up and looking delicious.

Our ethos is ‘dress to impress’. Most people can tell when someone has made an effort with their appearance; however, to avoid some common pitfalls of grey areas, here are the minimum expectations for dress standards.

Ladies, dress to feel sexy and desirable whilst still being true to you. Think:

  • Dresses
  • Skirt and top combos
  • Slacks and Blouse
  • Suit
  • Camisole

Gents, you want to look dapper and handsome whilst still feeling comfortable. Think:

  • Collared Shirt
  • Trousers/slacks
  • Chinos
  • Well-fitted denim

These are just the minimums. If you want to go all out and dress to the nines, then by all means – blow us away!

Footwear

Footwear can make or break an outfit, so choosing your footwear well is essential. Below are some minimums.

Ladies:

  • Heels
  • Wedges
  • Flats
  • Boots
  • Dress sandals

Gents:

  • Dress shoes
  • Boots
  • Dress sneakers

What about underneath?

As the evening progresses, guests do like to ‘dress down’. There is no obligation to do so (except for the orgy room from 10 pm); however, if you desire this, you can either wear your dress-down attire under what you arrive in or change into it once you arrive. We do not have minimum standards here – you do you, boo. But here are some suggestions.

Ladies:

  • Lingerie
  • Stocking & Suspenders
  • Bra and knickers
  • Robe
  • Au Naturale

Gents:

  • Yummy underwear. Maybe avoid the worn-out kind that every guy seems to have.
  • Men’s lingerie
  • Au Naturale

Themed Events

Occasionally, we have themed events. Some themed events may call for items that appear on the no-no list or contradict the minimum standards. If your outfit or costume is in line with the theme, let’s party, baby!

We put outfit and costume ideas in themed events’ descriptions, so check those out for some inspo.

If your outfit or costume is too risqué to wear out in public, coming in regular attire and being able to change upon entry is not a problem.

Second Outfit

Some guests like to bring a second outfit to change into after the night. Often, this clothing is more comfortable than what they arrived in. Changing into this outfit when it comes to home time is fine.

The No-Nos

For further clarity, here is a list of no-nos:

  • T-shirts
  • Singlets for men
  • Tracksuit (top and bottoms)
  • Hoodies
  • Caps
  • Shorts
  • Joggers/trainers/running shoes
  • Thongs/slides*
  • Slippers (yes, a couple turned up in slippers once, so now we have to say it)
  • Activewear

*= These items are okay to change into later in the evening if you don’t like walking around barefoot, but please do not turn up wearing them.

Last Thoughts

If you’re unsure about anything, please get in touch with us ahead of time. We will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about your attire.

We also have some podcast episodes that discuss what to wear.
